What an absolutely incredible day of Physi!! We had the privilege of having 10 amazing girls represent Tuggerah Lakes today as the the top 12 girls in each competing age group battled it out for a chance to become a Champion Girl for a year. We are so amazed at how beautiful all our girls were today.

First up we had Hannah (left). As a fresh faced 5 year old, she stepped onto the stage with nothing to lose. With her beautiful positions and gorgeous smile, Hannah finishes this year as a Grand Finalist.

Then we had our Extended Ladies, Suzanne and Debbie (right). In a very even competing group, both women showed just how strong Tuggerah Girls can be. In this tough section both ladies finish this year as Grand Finalists.

Next up was our 12 year old, Sophie (left). Our little trouper has shown such great determination this year, and the hard worl has paid off! This year Sophie has taken home 3rd place.

The tall Open Seniors came up next, with Melissa Brailey (right) showing her amazing physi talent better than ever before. She was chosen to stand among the 12 Senior Girls selected to compete for the 2014 Grand Champion Girl.

Our darling 6 year old girls were next, Sienna and Kiralee (left). In this beautiful age group our two little diamonds shone brightly, with Kiralee taking home 4th, and Sienna taking home 6th!

After the interval, we had Tilly (right) compete in the 8 years section. With her beautiful pointed toes, a winning smile, She will finish this year as a Grand Finalist.

Our 2nd Year Intermediate Senior, Bethany (left) was next, striding out amazingly in her even section. This gorgeous girl took out 3rd Place in her section.

Our final competitor was Kyah (right) in the 11 years. Looking every bit the Tuggerah girl, Kyah will finish this years as a Grand Finalist.

Our Open Senior, Melissa, then took to the floor a second time to decide the Grand Champion Girl for 2014. Finishing on the Highest of Highs, Melissa wowed the crowd with her final lunge group front and center to the judges. It was then that we found out that she had indeed taken 1st place in the Open Senior (Tall) section. We then waited the agonising 20 second wait as the judges announced the 2014 Grand Champion Girl.

We are proud to announce that Melissa Brailey has once again taken home this title!! This is the 5th time she has been awarded with this highest of honours. In the 54 years of Edith Parsons Physical Culture, she is the first to take this title 5 times, making her an All Time Physi Legend.

November 16th - Junior Teams!!

Today we had the privilege of showing the "Physi World" what our Junior teams can do!! As we always say, its not about whether or not you place, its about the effort you put in all year for your team. You are all team players, which is what we cherish!!

First up today was our 11&12's team; Sophie, Lily-Mae, Libby, Abbey, Rose and Anna. These girls, despite a few nerves, had a great time before the team went on the floor. With 13 teams competition was tough, but our girls held their own with amazing timing and a couple of very minor mistakes. These girls did not place this year, but looked beautiful.

Next up were our tiny 7&8 years team; Ivy, Bella, Tilly, Charlie, Tennikah and Rhiannon. You would never have known that half of these girls having never been part of a team before. With a kind of timing that only the closest of close friends have, these girls 'wow'ed the judges and took an amazing 2nd place. Being the happy, bouncy, smiley girls that they are, they also took the Dance Award!! Well done girls, we look forward to seeing what you can do in the future.

Finally were our 9&10 years team; Adison, Bailey, Maddi, Emily, Belynda and Kyah (11 years). They too were nervous before heading out onto the floor. In a tough section, these girls had beautiful timing in their exercises, but unfortunately the few mistakes took getting a place away from them.

We are so proud of our girls, placing or not, because you showed everyone there how great your friendships are within the team. And that is the most important part!!
